A Merciful Family

Mercy can be defined as compassion or forgiveness shown toward someone whom it is within one's power to punish or harm. During this message, we explore Jesus' approach to mercy and forgiveness as we strive to be a merciful church family. A merciful family… approaches conflict differently and demonstrates exceptional patience. This past weekend, Pastor Steve Huffman guided us through these two important points as we continue our series, We are Family. This week, be challenged to pray this prayer of forgiveness: "Heavenly Father, I have been wronged by ____. I have held on to the debt long enough. Today I choose to release and cancel that debt. ____ no longer owes me anymore. Just as you forgave me, I forgive ____. In Jesus name."
