Hola Vineyard!

Back with another exciting update from Honduras!

Today we started off with a devotion from Galatians 5:22 and Ephesians 5:22, focusing on love which was perfect, because that’s exactly what we’ve been able to do: spread God’s love. We’ve been meeting so many families who are looking for just that. They simply want to be loved. 

We had the opportunity today to love on so many children and families in one of the poorer villages. It was another distribution day, and even something as small as a puppet show, a song, a dance, or handing out little goodies and candy was enough to bring so much joy.  Pastor Arqui, prayed over the families, asking for salvation and that they would continue to lean on the Lord.

After the village visit, we went to Pastor Nelson’s village and spent some downtime with the kids. We played soccer, gave out temporary tattoos, played with stickers, jumped rope, and just enjoyed being with them. It was simple and so sweet. 

We ended our day with a celebration, Theresa and her family are finally moving into their home after 7 years! The Vineyard Missions Team has been a part of this project since the beginning, and what a blessing it is to see it finished. This house will be a place of safety, security, and ministry for children and families in the village. Everyone came out to celebrate with music and, best of all, cake!

Even when it started to pour down rain, the celebration didn’t stop. Honestly, it felt like God was using the rain as a symbol of new life and a new beginning for Theresa and her family.

We headed back for an earlier tonight because tomorrow we have to be up early. We will be attending Pastor Arqui's church and then celebrating the completion of the kitchen. Which we at The Vineyard ( thanks to the Next Gen campaign and people like you) helped fund to complete!
